The Sant’Uliveri cooking class was amazing! Alessandro(son) and Rosanna (mama) were absolutely wonderful! We feel like we made new Italian friends during this experience, and it was definitely the highlight to our Tuscany area trip. The authenticity of this experience was unmatched, the farmhouse and countryside are spectacular, and the hosts were the epitome of hospitality.
That is all to say before we even get to the food! The Bruschetta, the fresh salads and ingredients from the garden, homemade pasta and gnocchi, gelato, wine, limoncello, AMAZING!!! I’m going home to the USA an Italian chef! Haha! The entire experience was one of a movie, laughter, friendship, family, food, and the feeling of not wanting it to end. If it wasn’t wonderful enough, when Alessandro pulled out his accordion to play for us after dinner, we were transported back to a time of simple beauty and pleasure. If he wasn’t already an amazing chef with a beautiful business and farm, I think he could be a professional musician. The scene was breathtaking and the experience was wonderfully captivating! Thank you for your time, attention to detail, genuine hospitality, and authentic passion and joy you brought to our experience!

My wife and I took Sant’Ulivieri pasta cooking classes recently and it was THE highlight of our three week Tuscany trip! If you are even thinking of a cooking class, then THIS is the one you need to do. The mother Rosanna and her son Allessandro were so gracious and warm and welcoming to us, also making it so much fun. We toured their farm (which was amazing to see it in action) and we picked vegetables that we used to cook the meal with. Then, under the guidance of Allessandro, we made bruschetta, salad, gnocchi and we made home made pasta. It was so delicious we couldn’t believe we made it! We had wines from their farm followed by limoncello. We finished off the meal with strawberry gelato (homemade of course). It was a surprisingly fun day and it was our most fun activity. Rosanna and Alessandro have a way of making you feel like you are all old friends making and eating a meal together. When Alessandro pulled out his accordion to play a few songs for it, it was the absolute icing on the cake! What a wonderful time we had! Thank you Rosanna and Alessandro!!
